associa\u00e7\u00e3o de natureza cient\u00edfica e cultural sem fins lucrativos, em 18 de julho de 1985, com o prop\u00f3sito fundamental contribuir para alargar e aprofundar, designadamente atrav\u00e9s de uma pr\u00e1tica interdisciplinar e pluridisciplinar, o conhecimento dos problemas com que se confrontam os espa\u00e7os e as sociedades rurais em Portugal.<\/p><p>Os 40 anos da SPER s\u00e3o um marco que nos convida a criar di\u00e1logos enriquecedores entre os estudos destas quatro d\u00e9cadas e os que lhes ir\u00e3o suceder. Os \u00faltimos 40 anos transformaram profundamente a ruralidade portuguesa, na sua diversidade regional e local, num ritmo acelerado de mudan\u00e7as que se perspetiva continuar, sen\u00e3o intensificar. Entre decl\u00ednios e renascimentos, o rural continua vivo, resistindo, progredindo e reinventando-se, entre a salvaguarda de identidades, paisagens, ecologias e modos de ser e a vertigem acelerada das novas tecnologias, da globaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, das press\u00f5es urban\u00edsticas e dos desafios da integra\u00e7\u00e3o de uma crescente imigra\u00e7\u00e3o laboral.<\/p><p>O X CER e XIII Encontro Rural RePort \u00e9 comemorativo e, por isso, chama a si as m\u00faltiplas tem\u00e1ticas nas quais se foram desenvolvendo os estudos rurais portugueses e procura que o futuro se construa fortalecido e enriquecido pelas partilhas e os debates coletivos e plurais que caracterizam a SPER e os seus congressos. Interessa recuperar uma vis\u00e3o de conjunto do conhecimento cient\u00edfico j\u00e1 acumulado sobre a ruralidade portuguesa na sua diversidade, nas suas perman\u00eancias e nas suas transforma\u00e7\u00f5es. E \u00e9 fundamental garantir que as novas gera\u00e7\u00f5es de investigadores continuem a entusiasmar-se com o estudo do rural a partir da multiplicidade das suas disciplinas, institui\u00e7\u00f5es e sensibilidades.\u00a0<\/p><p>Convidamos os interessados, de qualquer \u00e1rea disciplinar ou nacionalidade, a apresentar propostas de comunica\u00e7\u00f5es que contribuam para estes objetivos, tendo como orienta\u00e7\u00e3o preferencial os eixos tem\u00e1ticos abaixo indicados. Seguindo a tradi\u00e7\u00e3o destes encontros, aceita-se igualmente a submiss\u00e3o de propostas que, n\u00e3o se enquadrando nas tem\u00e1ticas propostas, permitam alargar o debate transdisciplinar
